Nothing is priced until a crew member has stood under the tree looking up it. Not from photographs, and not from a description over the phone.

A written tree trimming scope goes out first: trees, limbs, proportions, where the debris ends up, and what is excluded.

Site setup precedes the first cut; site clearance precedes the last vehicle off the drive.

Where nothing needs doing to a tree, you will be told nothing needs doing. That loses the odd job and it is worth losing.

The Tree Trimming Kit

Rope and harness do the bulk of the tree trimming. On a tight lot boxed in by fencing, nothing else damages so little on the way down.

If the wood is too far gone to hold a climber, a bucket does it. If neither climbing nor lowering in pieces is workable, a crane does. Dead ash generates most of both.

Both the chipper and the grinder arrive with the crew, which is why nothing stays heaped up pending a return.
